IPhone 3GS Icons and Screen display to big to display

As I switched out of one app to another my display got very large and now does not fit within the screen size of the phone. I have reset the phone several time but the icons are to large to display on the screen.

Imac, Mac OS X (10.4.8)

You have zoom on, double tap with THREE fingers, then go into Settings>General>Accessibility and turn zoom off for good.

I just wanted to thank you for explaining the solution. I have been looking for an answer on Apple Support with no luck and just stumbled on this. You have saved my sanity. Thank you.
