Varispped "Speed Only" not working

Hi, I tested both version 9.1.1 and 9.1.2 Varispped "Speed Only" not working.

Modifying the speed also modified the pitch!

I'm sure it worked fine with previous versions.

Any help????

"Speed only" means it works like a tape player. Slowing down or speeding up changes the pitch. It doesn't mean that only the tempo changes and the pitch remains constant. There are other options to get that.

Hi

Sorry, but this is incorrect.

From the Logic 9 manual (p546)

"
• Speed Only: Use this mode to pitch shift the master output signal to balance the pitch change caused by varispeed. This mode changes only the speed, not the pitch.
• Varispeed (Speed and Pitch): Use this mode to emulate classic tape varispeed, where the pitch changes to reflect the speed change.
• Varispeed and MIDI: This mode emulates classic tape varispeed and simultaneously transposes non-drum MIDI tracks, quantized to semitones."

This happens when the AUPitch plugin is disabled: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3100
