Apple Mouse Scroll Problem?

Something is wrong with My Apple Mouse it does not want to Scroll up only Down, So I Cleaned it & I even Restarted My Computer Still nothing, it's still giving me a Hard Time, does that mean My Apple Mouse is no good?

Finally I Got it, Why does it take So Long for it to get it to Scroll up so Long? all of a Sudden it will go back to normal just like that even though i was frustrating Over it to get it to work & now all of a Sudden it works?

If you have the Mighty mouse with the scroll ball wheel, they tend to get gunky and not scroll. Turning it upside down and rolling the wheel on a sheet of paper helps sometimes.

Hi Byron, how are you this evening?

Like captfred said, there is probably some lint or dirt inside the scroll ball socket. If rolling it upside down on a sheet of plain white paper does not get it working again. Try scrubbing the ball with an alcohol wipe and then blow around the edges of the ball with canned air.

i'm Fine thank you, I Did get My Scroll Ball Working, but it took So long to try to get it to work, took 15 minutes to get it to work I Had to un plug my Apple Mouse 4 or 5 times & I Kept cleaning & connecting it back & playing with it to get it to work, Finally after Playing with it, it Started to Work, Next time I Will do what you said when it happens again. 🙂
