Graphic's cards are they for Laptops?

Can laptops Like the MacBook Pro support a graphics card?
for example:
An ati radeon xfx or NVIDIA geforce be inserted into a laptop?

There is no open slot. They use Mobile versions which are usually embedded to the logicboard.

This btw is not MacBook Pro forum.

And OS X can't use PC cards.
