can't connect to network

Having the same issue. I have two Apple TV 2s, one works, one doesn't. My first gen Apple TV works fine too.

Weirdness.

I just got mine and I have the same issues. It sees the network but will not accept the password (although my Iphone, and every other wireless devices will). It works fine wired.

Make sure that nothing is sitting on top of the tv and that the unit is NOT upside down. Both these things cause interference with the Wifi receiver.

Having the same problem. Working off an Airport Extreme with everything else (ipads and iphones) accessing with no problem.

My new AppleTV randomly loses network configuration and requires me to perform a full reset once a day - It gets stuck on same error 3906 mentioned here... CAn someone at Apple help us? This seems to ne a common issue. My iphones connect to teh same network from the same spot without any issue.

I had the same error and was able to fix this by unplugging my router for a couple of minutes and plugging it back in.

Should I just return the AppleTV and get my money back? Even the salesmen, who is a friend of mine cannot get it to work and he set up the display model at the store where I purchased it? We tried everything in the booklet, under troubleshooting and even reset my Linksys router, but nothing works.
