Playlists & Smart Playlists

I have my music, podcasts, itunes U, Apps contents in an external drive.

How can i copy my playlists and smart playlists from one mac to another ?

select (highlight) the playlist in iTunes, then file > library > export playlist. use a thumb drive or your network to move the resulting .txt file over.

in iTunes on the other Mac, reverse the process (import playlist).

if not all tracks on the playlist are present in the other Mac's library, you will get a warning but the playlist will still work.
