Playlists & Smart Playlists

select (highlight) the playlist in iTunes, then file > library > export playlist. use a thumb drive or your network to move the resulting .txt file over.

in iTunes on the other Mac, reverse the process (import playlist).

if not all tracks on the playlist are present in the other Mac's library, you will get a warning but the playlist will still work.

you could save it as an .xml but i believe .txt is default ...

set up _*Home Sharing*_ on both computers, then try if you can successfully transfer your smart playlists.

if that don't work, you might want to check out 3rd party tools such as TuneRanger, Syncopation or SuperSync.
