Record multiple tracks at once in 11?

How do you do this in GB '11? They removed the little record button on each track - they left only the headphones and mute button. I have been struggling with trying to get more than one track to record simultaneously. Thanks!

I figured it out. Garageband '11 sets single track recording as the default. You need to go to TRACK - ENABLE MULTITRACK RECORDING and after selecting that, you will then see the record buttons on the individual tracks like the old version. I don't know why they changed this, but this is the solution.

Does anyone know if GarageBand 11 is limited to 8 simultaneous tracks, or have they increased the number with this release?
