Links in Mac Mail no longer work

I don't know if this addresses your issue, but there are a few characters that won't work (I had a list of them once, but now I forget. "?" is one, as I recall.) And the link won't be clickable in the draft message at all - you'd need to send it first.

Same thing just happened here... it's not the links themselves, it's all links in Mail messages.

Clicking on the links navigates to Firefox, just doesn't open.

Just got mine working again:

Closed and re-opened Mail (nothing)

Closed and re-opened Firefox, when I re-opened it asked if I wanted the latest update to Evernote Plug-in, which I accepted and installed.

Now it works fine.

This happened to me last week. Shutting everything down and restarting the system fixed it (I was NOT asked to update evernote plug-in in firefox). But today the problem came back.

I have had the same problem for some time. Some URL links in a message are clickable (ie, open the URL in Firefox), while others are not. All of the links are valid.

I have the same problem. Links in mac mail dont work. When clicked the little hand cursor turns to an arrow.

Shouldnt someone from apple be addressing this?

I just solved my problem using a cue from other posts. My problem was in Firefox. I opened Safari and the links worked there. Then I closed Safari and went back to Firefox and the problem was gone. Go figure.

Yup, same problem here. I shut down everything and it went away for a few hours, but problem came back again. I experience the same problem with Twitter links, so it must be a Firefox issue and not a Mail issue.

Yeah, add me to the list too. Been struggling with this for a week or so now - restarting/updating all programs etc, but no joy on a fix.
Then tonight after updating firebug add-on to 1.6.0 (+ required restart) the links work all of a sudden. No closing/opening anything else - just clicked the same mail link that wouldn't work 3 minutes ago and now it's all fine.
We'll see for how long though...

Lasted 2 days and issue returned again. Oh well, will have to stick with copy and pasting mail links for the time being.

This is not just a Firefox issue. I use Safari and links seem to have stopped working here to. Just the last few days - don't remember updating anything.

Will try a restart etc. However, never had this issue before.

I cannot figure out why either, but this seemed to start two days ago. No updates that I know of, except one for Mac for Office (which obviously should not affect anything else). None of the links in my incoming email are working. Caused a work problem this morning when I could not access an online conference I needed to attend. Could not open the link in their email to get in!

Also, I have had intermittent "sending" issues where my messages seem to "hang" and give me an error message about the server.

I have used Mac Mail for years, same network, etc. and have never had any issues...now two issues seem to have cropped up at once! I'll try the restart again, as suggested. Does Apple know about this?

I tried a lot of the suggestions in this thread and nothing changed. Then about a week ago, it started working again spontaneously. Don't remember upgrading anything. (sigh)
