Probably means you're syncing via iTunes and MobileMe. If that is the case, then uncheck syncing with iTunes and resync with MM only.
Should be OK then.
if you have mobileme and sync with your facebook on your iPhone using the facebook app, you will see this issue... easiest way to fix and clean up the issue is via mobileme's web interface. then delete the entire mobileme account from your iPad and re-add it. when you delete the account from your iPad, make sure you delete all mobile data from your device.
Hmm. I see the following message: "Your contacts are being synced with MobileMe over the air. Your contacts will also sync directly with this computer. This may result in duplicated data showing on your device."
I have the "All contacts" button selected, but nothing else under the Sync Address Book Contacts heading.
I don't see the choice you mentioned. Maybe this is a bug for the next fix?
I think you're missing the point.
They WILL sync with MobileMe with that box unchecked. MM syncs automatically. By having that box checked, you are syncing with iTunes and MM and that is why you have doubles.
