There might be someone around here who's experienced with the game, but most of the people here are more experienced with the hardware of the MBP.

I would suggest going to the Call of Duty 4 forum, where there's probably a Mac subforum. I hope that helps.

I found the same problem when I bought call of duty from the app store.
solved my multi-player issues like this.
went to evenbalance.com and downloaded the punkbuster updater for MAC,
when you go to add a game you can add the app but you can manually type in the path to where the files need to go.
I resolved the path to /Applications/Call of Duty 4.app/Contents/Call of Duty 4 Data on my machine an after entering that in to the PB window and updating all my multi-player issues were resolved. hope this helps.

Did you buy the game at a store or did you do electronic download through the mac store?
If you bought the game at a store you need to update the game manually (find the patches online and apply them one by one, version 1.1 to 1.2 1.2 to 1.3 etc... or there might be combo update somewhere).
you dont see any servers because chances are no servers are running your version of call of duty. I believe the current version is 1.7

@Thorv

You should have a PBSetup.run file in your downloads folder (or where ever you download stuff too)

launch it, Then when its open, go File > Add game...

Open that up and it should ask you to choose a game (choose Call of duty 4)

Use the path mentioned above "/Applications/Call of Duty 4.app/Contents/Call of Duty 4 Data"

And then it should do its thing

Now that still didn't work for me, but its worth a try

Lets hope a patch comes soon... as I dont care for campaigns
