Here's one: how about cropping a file. used to be a simple 'c', now it's a few clicks away. I don't see crop in any menu, so is it possible to add?

No there's no menu command so you can't use that method.

However: command-e will get you to Edit mode and then tapping c will get you cropping.

To add, the menu name must be the same as what is located in the actual application. Ie "Show Original File" didn't work but "Original File" worked perfectly as that's how it's written in the menu.
