Q: AppleMobileDeviceSupport & AppleApplicationSupport

I was scouring my computer today to find ways to free up some disk space and noticed that I have between 6 and 10 versions of these files and I am curious if I can remove them or at least all but the latest versions to save some space.

Anyone know if I will cause any issues by removing them?

iPhone 4, iOS 4

Given that they contain the installation databases for the applications, I'm always a bit leery about deleting them ... what locations have you been finding them in? (Thinking that we might be able to work out what is safe and what isn't safe to delete.)

They were all in the same location but had different dates a versions. I decided to delete all but the most recent dated one (the one with the latest version) and I guess I will see where things go.

    Thanks for the comment.
