How to install RAM into MacBook Pro 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Hi,

Please may you assist me with a step-by-step guide regarding the installation of my newly pruchased RAM into my now a bit old MacBook Pro (2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo).

It is running Snow Leopard 10.6.4 and is painfully slow. My mac can barely type an email without slowing down....really bad.

I purchased RAM with specs:
2GB, 200-pin SODIMM Upgrade for a Apple MacBook Pro 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (15.4-inch) System.

Also - is it a good idea to install the RAM myself or should I go to a professional for this?

Thanks in advance.
