O.S. problem #39

O.S. problem #39

I've been copying files from my hard drive to DVD using Toast Titanium 10 with no problems, and now I'm getting an error message O.S. #39. I have not been able to find out what a #39 error constitutes to know how to resolve. Anyone out there got any ideas?? Thanks

mac pro, Mac OS X (10.5.7)

I don't know for sure if this is still true, but OS error - 39 used to mean "unexpected end of file" or something like that. This makes me think (at least) one of the files you are copying is corrupted and causing the copy process to bail out.

I believe it still means an end of file error. For a little more information about the error, see this article:

It can be caused by something wrong with the drive the file was saved to.

Thanks, Just went in and tried to write some other files to DVD and had no problem. I think I know which file is corrupted. Thanks for the insight in how to fix.
