Jan 28, 2015 6:55 AM in response to ayoub123by JRobe1111,I have an ipad that is disabled due to my kids entering the wrong password many times. It says on the screen to connect to iTunes. I was able to connect to itunes and complete a sync, but what do I do from here? I tried clicking RESTORE IPAD and RESTORE BACKUPS but itt will not proceed until I disable find my ipad under settings>>iCloud. I can't do this because it is disabled.

Unlike other companies, it doesn't seem that Apple has any qualified technicians that troll these forums. It just seems their support is either pay for it or visit a store where we will try to talk y into buying something.
here is the likely answer for those that need the fix that I did.

I could not restore my ipad because iTunes couldn't connect to it since it was disable. I followed the instruction "hold down home button and connect to iTunes". I tried so many times and couldn't get it to restore. ITunes keeps saying that iTunes can't connect to iPad because it's locked with a passcode. Please help! thanks!

I have an ipad 2….this is ridiculous..tried through my Macbook pro…but also have a 6 phone…so ****** at apple products…I live almost 3 hours from the closest Apple store…with all the money they make you would think they could offer more stores…I am between one in Northern VA and one outside of Richmond, VA...

Jan 14, 2016 6:08 PM in response to chiles2uby chiles2u,Let me add that I went onto Apple Support and after 45 mins, they too could not do anything…Apple supervisor's suggestion was that maybe the Macbook pro that I was logged into was the issue and I needed to go to another computer and try…So I stumped a regular customer service rep and the Supervisor...
