You can export the photo and see it using simple EXIF viewer - http://homepage.mac.com/aozer/EV/index.html

You can also see it (at least in iPhoto '09 - I have not tested it with '11 yet) HoudahGeo - http://www.houdah.com/houdahGeo/ - additionally it is a nice package to update photos taken with a non-GPS camera -- I have send an e-mail to the author requesting information on '11

I just heard from Pierre (HoudahGeo) and he has not received iPhoto '11 yet - expects it today and will test and see what needs to be done once he has it

I expect It will help with most of the new questions / issues

I still have not received my copy of iLife'11.

I will start work on a compatibility update for HoudahGeo as soon as I can get my hands on the new iPhoto.

Hi!

I finally received my copy of iLife.

The good news is that HoudahGeo should be fully compatible. Apple did not change the API.
The bad news is that the API used by HoudahGeo to notify iPhoto is broken in iPhoto 9.0.1.
I hope for Apple to fix this soon.

Hi!

Unfortunately iPhoto 9.1 does not yet fix the AppleScript bug.

The workaround is to select "Rescan for location" in iPhoto upon geotagging photos using HoudahGeo.

The other option is to tag photos prior to importing into iPhoto.
