Mail keeps quitting

Question

Mail keeps quitting

The last few days, Mail keeps quitting on me at random points. Doesn't matter which accept I try to view first, or even whether I try to view anything at all. It just takes me back to the home screen.

I've tried powering off and back on, but it doesn't seem to help. Anyone else having this problem?

I think Phill_Phan is saying to reset your iPad:

Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the
Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Thanks fir responding. That's the first thing I tried, and vie done it several times since. Still no dice. Ugh.

Some users have reported similar problems due to undelivered mail on the server and solved it by accessing the account on a computer or elsewhere and deleting it. But have your first tried turning off and then back on the mail accounts?

I have exactly the same problem.
It started last night.
I touch the mail icon, it goes to mail & downloads mail but then quits back to the main screen before I can do anything.
I've tried restarting the ipad but it's still happening.
PLEASE let me know when you discover the solution - it's driving me crazy!
