Snow Leopard and Eudora?

Snow Leopard and Eudora?

I'm thinking of upgrading from Tiger 10 4.11 to Snow Leopard. (I know I'll have to go through Leopard first).

But my question is: If I move up to OS 10 6.4 will I still be able to use my mail client Eudora 6.2.4?

I already know I'll also lose my Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1.

Also, how long before Lion comes out?

If you are talking about upgrading your G4 it won't run Snow Leopard.

No. Sorry. I forgot to add I'm not running a G4, I'm talking about upgrading a 2 GHz intel iMac 2 duo.
So I can go to Snow Leopard. But will I lose Eudora and what else might I lose?

It should. Eudora 5.2.1 runs on it without any issues.

Thanks for the info on Eudora. If I move up to OS 6.4 do you know of any popular applications (other than Adobe Photoshop 7) that are in conflict?

Yes. It continues to be my workhorse of choice.

Remember to avoid any glitches best to keep in-box below *1000 K* is only trick I know to keep it running happy (I do the same for the outbox.)

I am starting to keep my eyes on MailForge http://www.infinitydatasystems.com/products/mailforge/index.html

Eudora is the last PPC software I am running, and it's time may well be limited.
