Uverse Point Anywhere Remote and Apple TV?

Has anyone successfully connect the Uverse Point Anywhere Remote with the Apple TV (2nd gen)?

I've tried the "Learn Remote" method in the Apple TV settings menu with no response.

I've also tried adding the Apple TV as a device to the Uverse remote using the instructions found in the Uverse Remote manual. I could not connect it there either.

I've been able to pair other IR devices with the Uverse PA Remote, and the Apple TV remote works fine on its own. But I can't get the Uverse PA Remote and Apple TV to talk to each other.

Anyone have success? Any suggestions?

I got my ATT Uverse Remote to work with my 2nd Gen AppleTV. I wasn't using the DVD mode on the Uverse remote so I programmed that button to control a device that I did not have (i think i programmed it to some Panasonic DVD player). The remote would allow me to use the DVD mode now. Then on the apple tv i went to Learn Remote and used the arrow keys for the arrows, OK button as Select and EXIT TO TV button as menu, alternatively you could use GUIDE as menu button.

My setup is working well now, i went from having five remotes, to only having one.
