Cannot get mail via Yahoo

I use Yahoo mail on my iPad and since yesterday I keep getting this error message:
"Cannot Get Mail. No password provided for (my account). Please go to Mail Account Settings and enter a password." I have entered the password. It shows up on the Mail Account settings as saved. I re-enter the password to no effect. I've deleted the mail account and created it again, still does not work. I only have the one mail account on the iPad. I am able to surf using Safari. When I try to send e-mail, I get this message: "Cannot Send Mail. The user name or password for (my account) is incorrect." Can anybody help please?

Okay, fixed it myself. I changed my password for my e-mail about a year ago and my iPad finally realized it was changed and did not accept the old password. Strange, since it was able to download and send my e-mail 2 days ago with the old password.

I'm getting the same "cannot send mail" message for two days on my Yahoo account. Another account works fine. I see some other messages on the Web like this also. Any other "hints" as to what to check and/or do. I've deleted and then reinstalled the Yahoo acoount with no success.

This happens in hotmail, too....if this ever happens to you folks again, go to

Mail, Contacts, Calendars>click on the account that is not working>scroll down to "outgoing mail server">click on the top "Primary server">re-input your password until it is verified>click "done" at the top

Should work just fine!!!!
