Booting Win XP (external drive) with Mac Mini 2009

Hello,

I have an external drive loaded with Win XP (from my broken laptop) and I would like to find out if I can boot and use the Win XP with my Mac mini 2009.

It is not possible to boot any Windows OS from an external drive. MS in
their infinite wisdom has decided that Windows can only be booted
from an internal hard drive.
