No iPad WiFi connection in Ibis hotels. Hangs on login.
I cannot connect the iPad to the new Ibis hotel wifi system. The Macbook and iPhone are fine, but the iPad refuses.
The Ibis system comes up with a special login page, which I have not seen before. When you enter the WiFi settings page, and key "Ibis wifi", it comes up with a pseudo-webpage, titled with "Ibis" and with user name and password entries (this is not in Safari). You enter the user name and password, and then it just hangs - the whole screen stops functioning.
I have obviously talked to Ibis, but they do not know what the problem is. The iPhone seems to connect ok, as does the Macbook, but the iPad refuses.
Anything I can suggest to them? (I have no difficulty at other hot-spots, or the domestic wifi.)
