Putting stand back on

Hi,

I've tried to put my stand back on the display and it would appear that the bracket is locked and wont go back in.

Is there a trick to doing this or is it a case of once out it's locked?

Mac OS X (10.6.4)

I surely cant be the only one that's tried to reattach the stand?

I've done a search on these forums and found 2 guys with the same problem, but both threads are locked and there was no reply.

I had the same problem with 27” LED.

No way re-inserting the card would unlock it.
I was returning it for replacement (DOA) so I left the stand off.

I also would like to know the secret.

Few tips to get this to work, first off make sure the fixed cable it ran through the hold, allowing full range of motion on the stand, it seems to get in the way just enough otherwise to screw this up. Then once connected use the card on the top left, with about a 60 degree upward angle. This should allow you to unlock the stand. Hope that helps!
