Special function keys are mixed up

I recently sent my Macbook Pro (late 2008 model) to get a replaced logic board and top cover. When I got it back the Special function keys are mixed up.

F3 - mutes sound - it should do expose
f4 - decreases volume - it should show the dashboard
f5 - increases volume ....etc,
...
F11 - expose - it should decrease volume
f12 - dashboard - it should increase volume

I have checked and made sure that System Preferences>Keyboard>"use all F keys as standard function keys" is not selected. And that no accessibility options are switched on either.

How do I fix this? or should I bring it back to the repair shop?

Thanks

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

Yes, I have the mid/late 2007. MacPro3,1 I think. (It's not at this location so I can't verify). The special function keys were in different places. Messes me up switching back and forth. F12 was Dashboard, F11 Expose etc just like they describe. I think they really have the early 2008 MacPro, not the late.

A bit of trivia as I remember it. The old iMacs with the white keyboard and the laptops had the old mapping up until the introduction of the MBair in Jan 2008. Thereafter as the unibodys were introduced, they got the new mapping like the MBair. iMac switched over with the introduction of the aluminum keyboard. At least that's how my slightly defective memory recalls it. 😉
