changing safari language

i have downloaded arabic onto my mac so that i can type in it for class. however, now when i use safari some websites (like youtube and google) are in arabic, even when i have english chosen on the top upper right bar. how can i fix this so that websites appear in english?

What exactly did you download? There is no need to add anything to your mac to type in Arabic.
