changing safari language

i have downloaded arabic onto my mac

What exactly did you download? There is no need to add anything to your mac to type in Arabic.

HI and welcome....

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click Language & Text.

Open Language & Text preferences
Drag your preferred language to the top of the Languages list.

If Safari is open, quit (Command + Q). Relaunch Safari.

I choose arabic as a second language, I guess

Make sure that in system prefs/language & text/language you have English at the top of the list and not Arabic. This section has nothing to do with typing. For that you only check a box in the Input Sources section.
