How to prep iPhone 3G for sale on CL?
I have 2 iPhone 3G phones that I am selling on CL. I have done a factory reset on both of them and have removed the SIM cards. When people come over to see them, they want to see the icons on the screen, not an arrow saying "connect to iTunes".
1. Am I missing a step, or are they not knowledgable on iPhones?
2. Is there a specific SIM card type that needs to be used, or will any ATT SIM card work?
3. One of the iPhones is on 3.1.3, and the other is on 4.0.2. How can I prove this to potential buyers,
if the only thing that happens when you turn them on is to get the "connect to iTunes" message?
