I currently use the Zagg Invisible shield and have for about 2 years now. I like them because they offer a lifetime warranty and they have several kiosks in a few of the malls near me and for $5 they will professionally put a new one on if something happens to it, Which I have had done a couple of times.

However, I have seen Bodyguardz show up in the one mall that does not have an invisible shield kiosk and from what I saw on their website, they also offer a lifetime warranty, a 30 day money back guarantee, and for the same price, they give you 2 protector screens instead of only one like Zagg. I wish I would have seen them before I bought the Invisible Shield.

There is also a link on the website that shows a YouTube video comparing the two and it seems like they are almost identical.

Personally, I'd go with Powersupport (dry application).

zagg I hear they have the orange peel effect, but others you mention is also a wet application. probably not good for the front as the water could seap through the speaker hole and damage the LCD. This applies to any wet application. maybe for the back you can use the wet application. But for the front, go with powersupport, they are the best imho.

The original iphone was built like a brick...i didnt use a case for it when i got it back in October 2007...dropped it quite a few times since then...its still kicking, my 5 yr old daughter uses it now as an ipod...still droppijg it and its good...

My 3G power button is now stuck i dropped it with a hard case, its also cracked a bit at the peakers...

My 3Gs got lucky so far...i dropped it a few times in the sip while deployed...actualy broke the digitizer screen, but apple fixed that for $50 using a hard case as well on this one...

Now i got the 4 afree bumper...so far so good...

Im leaning towards the SGP EX...its a hard static cling film for front and back plus a regular invisible shield for the metal band...and you get 2 sets...thats gotta be way better than Zagg, bodyGuardz, wrapsol...

I believe Zagg only comes in 1 set.

Bodyguardz comes in 2 set, they also have a dry application (static), I believe both bodyguardz and zagg has a lifetime warranty.\

Powersupport also comes in 2 set (if it's only the front). They do sell the ones that comes for both side but 1 set each. 1 clear, 1 anti-glare, and 1 back.

I dont think the Zagg, Wrapsol and BodyGuardz are static films? They all have that same(somewhat) stretchy substance somewhat give that rubbery feel on the touch screen.

I think for me the SGP EX would be a better choice cause the front and back films are made from scratch resistant plastic like power support that feels closer to glass on the touch screen plus that same stretchy invisibleshield for the sides...2 sets for $20

As far as I know, only Zagg is the wet application, I do not know anything about wrapsol as this is my first time hearing that. As for the Bodyguardz, they come either in wet type or dry application. Now I do not know if the dry application would be the static type, but I would have to assume that it will be because if you mess up, you should be able to lift it up and re apply it.

Also, I never heard of SGP so I'm not going into that but if it's what you like, then go for it.

Yeah when i first got my original iPhone back in 2007 I have only heard of Power Support cause they sell those at the Apple store...Then i heard about Zagg InvisibleShield after that...

SGP has some pretty good stuff...they are more glass like than PowerSupport...im using an Oleophobic screen protector...which is super clear and has the same coating used in the glass for the iPhon 3GS and iPhone 4...which I think only SGP have it...

Here is their link...

And Here is Wrapsol...which a lot of people say way better than Zagg...

hmm..the SGP looks nice. I'll keep that for the future reference if I ever need to go from powersupport to that one. But I prefer the anti-glare from the powersupport.

I've had zagg on my ipod touch first gen. It is still there, and it turned yellow, so techically, the back chrome has no scratches at all till this day.

I've used zagg on my 3G, I got sick of the orange peel effect, not only that it also had hairline scratches from the film upon receiving the package, so I gave up on it. Until I found Bodyguardz. I used Bodyguardz on my 3G S, surely the back is hard to install, which I also had bodyguardz on my 3G as well, but i gave up on bodyguardz, did try that on my iphone 4, after a few days of usage. did not like it at all, it felt greasy.

Now I'm using powersupport Anti-glare, i'm only using the front as i don't need the back protected as I am using the iskin solo case for it and for me there is no reason to protect the back if the iskin solo does its job.
