Multiple Google Contacts for different accounts

I had to restore one of my iphones, to which I synced gmail contacts from one account. Did the configure, sign in to gmail, sync, etc...

Well it pulled contacts from that gmail account and from my wife's etc... Is anyone having this problem, and how can I JUST sync from ONE gmail account and not TWO!!!???
