KeyBoard Layout on Macbook Pro

Hi I have one of those silly questions regarding keyboard layout. I have picked up a 2010 Macbook pro (first mac I have had) that had been purchased overseas. It is absolutely in immaculate condition but the layout of the keyboard is a bit of a pain. I can map it to the Australian layout but because I am not a touch typist it becomes slow work. So what I would like to do is map it and get some of the keys replaced to suit. Is the possible and any body have an idea of cost.
Also the Apple website tells me I have about 9 months left on the warranty does it matter if it was purchased overseas (i do have the receipt).
