Line 6 Pod Studio UX2 With MacBook Pro

Hello,

I just got a Line 6 Pod Studio UX2 for my guitar, and I'm unable to get sound out of anything but the headphones. I've installed all of the software for the UX2, and still, nothing.

I've been at it for over 7 hours trying to get sound. I've messed with the midi settings, plugged cords into every jack in my guitar amplifier, plus the UX2 device (one by one) as process of elimination. Still, nothing.

What am I doing wrong? There has to be some sort of setting that I need to change, because the UX2 is responding. The needles are moving, but I'm just not getting any sound from anything but headphones.

Any help would be great.

I you are trying to sound out of the UX2 you need to choose it as output in garageband preferences>Audio/Midi. If you want the sound out of your mac choose that.

Of course this is taking in account you have a real instrument track. You choose the correct input channel for that track and you have monitoring turned on and track is record enabled.
