No video for iChat

If you do a Speed Test what speeds do you get back ?

If the Video Menu says the Camera is Enabled (ticked) and the Show Status items are also ticked in the View menu it will be the Internet Speed iChat sees at any one time.

Try a computer restart first.

I would also try a PRAM reset if the computer restart does not work
Shut down the computer.
Restart it holding down Apple/CMD (or ⌘)+ALT PR Keys until you have heard three Start Up Bongs.

Please, if posting Logs, do not post any Log info after the line "Binary Images for iChat"

I got the same problem until someone told me to use only one app at a time for iSight, and it turns out to be ok.

Hi,

As posted below you may lose camera icons if you have another app that uses the Camera open before iChat.

You could try going to iChat menu > Preferences > Video Section and changing the Bandwidth Limit.
Change it to 500kbps.
Changing this setting will write that in to the com.apple.ichat.plist, which may be enough.

If not delete com.apple.ichat.plist and restart iChat.
The File is found in Your Home Folder/Library/Preferences (Hard Drive/Users/(your account)/Library/Preferences)
