Macbook Pro housing bent, Apple repair?

I bought my Macbook Pro about 2 months ago. I noticed a ding when I went to check my battery life status. The battery life indicator was bent, the button won't work so I assume the battery life indicator doesn't work either. You can see the inside edge of the bottom panel. I would I assume that I need to replace the casing and panel, and battery indicator.

Will apple repair these things, and keep the Macbook Pro under warranty? Any ideas how much it would cost?

Other than the indicator the Laptop is working fine, so I don't think there anything seriously wrong with the laptop. I think it happened when I was moving around and accidentally banged the edge of the laptop against the counter top. I didn't think anything of it since it was just the counter top.

Yes the will be happy to fix it but the repair won't be covered under warranty. If they locate any other damage they will let you know and provide a quote. Because this damage could be interpreted as abuse don't be surprised if the warranty has been voided.

You need to take it in for a quote.
