Q: Altering filename during copy/transcode process
Afternoon all,
Come across a problem when outputting multiple versions of the same file to the same location.
Issue being that yes - OSX numbers the files on ouput depending on which one is done first, but this doesnt allow you to identify which one is which, something I need to be able to do in order to perform the next step of the proposed workflow - moving specific codecs to specific folders for FTP, web player etc
I've tried an automator script but that didnt work because of the way that compressor puts all the sections of a file into the folder first before compiling everything. I also tried putting a delay on the script but it's very hard to guess how long it might take for the compression and recompiling to take place...
Any ideas/questions?
