When I create a production, and add a single asset to it, the thumbnail used for the production becomes the same image used for my asset (the first asset). However, if I remove that first asset, and add a completely different asset in its place, why does the productions thumbnail not change to reflect my different asset?
No, the asset does not change. Once it's set, it's set. I've never known anyone using FCSvr professionally to remove assets from productions, though. It's very unlikely that would ever happen.
