iPhoto will not send email

iPhoto will not send email

Latest updates to iPhoto 11 installed. iPhoto will not send email of photos. The "send" indicator moves all the way to the right and shows as a solid bar, but the email is never sent. Any suggestions?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.4), iPhoto 11 with latest downloads

I found out I had to set a an iPhoto mail account under preferences. it sends to the first email address. It does help to watch the videos.

Thanks. I tried it by moving my primary email address to the head of the list, but it didn't work.

Experimenting, I removed my email addresses from iPhoto preferences and re-entered them with the password. IT WORKED! iPhoto now emails my photos.

This is ridiculous.

For the past 5 years I've easily emailed photo's from iPhoto. Then, I get a new edition. Now, iPhoto wants all the detailed BS that I've already put into my email account.

REALLY, it wants to FORCE me to sign up for MobileMe. Which, I have, but I refuse to cave to stupidity - even when it's from Apple.

Apple's development staff just pulled a Microsoft - take something that's worked for a decade and drastically change it so that it's a pain in the butt for their loyal base.

Bummers. Apple is usually smarter.

Why not continue to do the same? Simply select your mail client in the iPhoto Preferences.
