You know, the only way I could find it was to click on the 'Buy Book' option - and then cancel of course.

I click on the buy option and it won't give me a price until I have completed the photobook. I don't want to go through the work of creating a book until I know the costs of it. Is there any other way of obtaining a price guide for the photobooks? Why is it so hard to find?

After contacting Apple and they explained, the web site is currently being updated and does not show the prices at this time. Apple did send me a price list, which I have included.

The price for books in iPhoto '09 and iPhoto '11:

Extra-large Hardcover Books: Size: 13x10 inches, 20 pages (10 sheets)
Base Price: USD $49.99

Large Hardcover Books: Size: 11x8.5 inches, 20 pages (10 sheets)

Price: USD $19.99 Additional pages: USD $0.69 each, 100 max.

There are still no prices on the apple website for iPhoto books. I also need to know what the shipping cost will be. I am based in Canada but am currently stationed in Switzerland and therefore want the book shipped to a Swiss address.

They won't ship from Canada to Switzerland. They'll deliver only in Canada and you'll need to have someone else ship on to you.

When you start the book the prices are displayed on the theme selection page

You can only do that if you have a swiss credit card for your Apple account and change the print product country to Switzerland
