Will the A1314 Apple keyboard pair with the iPad?

Just want to know if the bluetooth on the iPad allows the A1314 keyboard that works with the MacBook Pro to pair with the iPad.

The 2011 model (A1314) will pair however NONE of the function keys will work on an iPad 2 running 4.3.5. So no brighness, playback control or volume control. PLEASE APPLE, FIX THIS ISSUE???!!!!
