Cant connect 2nd gen touch, unknown error 0xE800068

I deleted all the content on my ipod using the password erasing setting. I didnt realize there was a button for reset, but its too late for that now. My ipod has the icon for "connect to itunes" on the screen. When i connect to itunes, i get this error message; "itunes could not connect to this ipod because an unknown error occured (0xE8000068)". I tried it on a couple other computers and i got the same message, and I also went through the "Issues updating or restoring iPod touch" guide, with no luck. How can i fix this? I dont care about retrieving the files i lost i just want to use it on another library.

2nd generation, Windows 7

Here are some more things mentioned to try for errors containing "0xE": http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3221
Did you also try to connect in recovery mode? http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

Okay i tried those links, but they did not help. I sent it away since it was still under warranty. I was told the problem was the battery, which is definitely false, but the issue is solved, so i don't care what they did. To anyone else that ever gets this error message, don't bother trying to fix it yourself, just send it away to be repaired.
