Restore returns empty content

Hi!

I was a having a problem with the iPod app in the iPad and did a restore using iTunes (sounds like a tongue twister to me), but when all was said and done my New Yorker magazine app comes up empty.

No content!

Any suggestions?

BTW, ditto for my Wired magazine app.

It's empty, too!

What gives?

Doing a Restore removes all added data and restores the iPad to factory settings...you might check what else was removed in the process. If you did a restore from backup after the restore (confusing since we are talking about two different meanings of restore-isn't English a fun language?) you should get the information back that you lost.

Just my point; this did not happen.

I see that my iBooks is now empty also!

I upgraded from an iPod Touch 4 to an iPad iOS7. None of the content transferred over. Info I put in the calendar isn't there anymore, game apps I have to start all over. None of my progress transferred. Game apps such as bingo & Mall Girl. Any suggestions as to why this happened?
