How to move around screen after zoom-in with magic mouse?

Using 'Control & forward swipe' on the magic mouse is great on my 27" iMac to see smaller text up close. And I can apparently work within that area that is zoomed in.

I don't find a way to pan across the screen, once zoomed in.
Is this possible? In other words if I zoom into an application on the left side of the screen, can I pan over to the right side (while still zoomed-in) to view my open Safari page?

Thanks in advance
