I know my passcode, but I'm tired of entering it. But in the menu where I should be able to turn it off, the button is greyed out. WHY??

Does your phone check your works Exchange server? If so, the admin there can force passcode policy to protect their email since it is their data.

Was your passcode requirement done through an exchange account?
