iPhone 3G stuck in reboot loop - restore and DFU tried

Hello,

I have read many articles in this forum now, with many people's issues being resolved with a DFU or a restore. I have tried both of these and nothing seems to work. I have even tried a downgrade, which gets me further, to the connect to itunes screen, but it freezes instantly.

I have tried on a Mac and a PC and with the most updated software?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for my problem?

Thanks in advance.

If i initiate a restore or go into DFU mode, then everything works fine. iTunes successfully restores with no errors. But after the restart it will not turn on, just a continuous loop of apple logo, with a spinning wheel after a while.

I have downgraded to iOS 3.13 as well. Once I remove the recovery mode the phone will start and immediately freeze. I need a phone, so i have a spare sim card in there, so it freezes on the connect to itunes screen + emergency call. I call tell how far it's got by what language it's in though and it rarely gets past english!

Thanks for your help.
