Logic requests midi control data

Hi
I am having a problem when using my evolution MK-249C controller keyboard with logic.
Every time I switch the keyboard on or wake my imac from sleep with the keyboard attached and switched on, logic receives controller positions for the current position of all the knobs on the keyboard, thereby adjusting all the onscreen parameters and basically stuffing my project.

I am not sure if logic is requesting a snapshot when it detects a device being re-connected or whether the controller just sends them all out whenever it is switched on.
It seems to be a logic thing, as "Live" or "Traktor" do not display this behavior.

Any ideas?
