Plugged my iphone in this morning to sync and charge and was prompted to "UPDATE" itunes to a new version. clicked ok and after all the auto uninstall /insatll was done now it says "CANNOT SYNC THIS IPHONE UNINSATLL AND RE_INSATLL itunes 64bit????? What the ****??? This download was 64bit according to APPLE! I then downloaded directly from the apple website and unistalled manually everything and still the same thing. Can some one help?? APPLE CAN YOU GET THIS FIXED!!!! Another question for apple why does your software insatll in the (x86) folder instead og the 64bit one??????? Never have understood this.

lakota59. Not sure if this will help u as I'm not a wizz on this. I had the same problem, windows 7 64 bit uploaded 10.1 and now could recognise iphone 4 nor would it sync. I recalled a similar problem around the 9.0 versions so I did the following.
1. Uninstalled Safari
2. Uninstalled bonjour
restareed computer and all works fine now. Updates all songs/notes/calander etc.
