Belkin 2 port USB 2.0 PCI card

I have a Blue and white G3 and just recently purchased a Belkin F5U219-APL USB 2.0 PCI card to use with my new 5G ipod. It said it needed 3rd party drivers, but I thought OSX solved the problem of needing additional drivers.

However, I cannot get my system to recognize the card and sync with my ipod.

Do I have the right card for my BW G3?
