Hi all, I picked up this case for my iPhone for the other day. I have a battery question for y'all, this case does not have an on/off switch so when ever my phone is in the case the case uses it's power supply to keep the iPhone fully charged, then when the case battery dies, the iPhones battery then kicks in. Is this bad for my iPhone battery? Since my iPhone basically thinks it's on the charger for almost all day? So the iPhone battery almost never depletes or go below 90%. Any help will be great.
I'm not sure how bad this is for the battery. I think the iPhone is more intelligent about how it handles reaching full charge than other devices I've owned. The Morphie juice pack (forgive me if I've misspelled) has an off button and they just released one for the iPhone 4.
I bought this product but I don't understand something. It seems like when you put your phone in it starts charging it immediately. Is there no way to turn the device off so you can switch it on only after your phone battery dies.
If the device is always charging your phone, won't then the device run out of battery and once depleted then your iphone battery kicks is?
It is very confusing If the device is always on, what is the point of the quick charge?
I think I now understand why Best Buy has it on sale for $28. I don't think this product will be around too long.
Come on dude, you really think the worlds foremost battery maker doesnt understand how rechargeable batteries operate and they are going to make a battery product that will ruin your iphone battery?
