Q: Login Certificate in Keychain preventing secure access to web site
With my upgrade to Safari 5, I haven't been able to log into my secure bank account.
Here is the message that I receive:
+Safari can’t open the page “https://cibpd.cibe.com/index.html”. The error is: “The server “cibpd.cibe.com” did not accept the certificate.” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1205) Please choose Safari > Report Bugs to Apple, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.+
Obviously, I reported the problem to Apple (several times) & had no response.
Then I discovered that my login keychain has the following certificate which when removed, I could log in
7F15C193-EF6E-434E=A665-E-114C19681E
*Issued by Apple iPhone Device CA*
*Expires Monday, November 14, 2011 3:22:37 PM EST*
*x This certificate was signed by an unknown authority*
However, when I restart the computer, the certificate reappears, and the same problem is repeated. It seems that I can't get rid of this certificate permanently.
Accessing the bank with Firefox does not cause any problems, and neither do I have a problem with my iPad.
I'm running a Mac Pro with System v 10.6.5, I don't have an iPhone, nor any iPhone applications or 'device' ( maybe with the exception of iTunes which has some sync facilities which I have turned off without doing me any good ).
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have the exact same problem, with a specific https site (https://www.okteleseguros.pt). Other https sites seem to work fine (maybe they just don't require a client certificate?). I have no problem accessing the site with both opera and firefox.
Have you found a solution?
Anyone?
