my friend said that he has an ipad with software 3.2.3 and i cant seem to find it... is this a made up new version (i haven't actually seen his ipad he could be faking) he says it has game centre on it... is this true?

He's lying. There is no iOS 3.2.3.
iOS 4.2 will have Game Center but it's not out yet. It is due to be released this month.
