Scanning with HP Photosmart B110 doesn't work since upgrade to 10.6.5

I have a problem here on my HP Photosmart B110a: I can no longer scan via my iMac since I upgraded to 10.6.5. Same story on my MacBook Pro with 10.6.5
I do have an older MacBook still on 10.6.4 which can still scan, so it's clearly an issue in 10.6.5

This printer is a wireless printer, but I tried both via USB and wireless with the same result.

Anyone else with the same problem, and hopefully a solution?

Yes, I experienced this issue today, too 😟
And it does not depend on having a USB or a wireless connection to the printer.

Until either HP or Apple (or someone else) comes out with a fix, the quickest workaround to scan should be to use the printed embedded browser controlled scanning-feature. Just browse to the IP-address (or local name) of your printer. Quite amazing, what this tiny piece of plastic has to offer ...

Cheers!

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but after having installed iOS 4.2.1. on my iPhone, and having deleted and re-installed the printer one more time via the Print & Fax menu, it all works again!
The scanning is even available much sooner than I was used to in the past.

iOS 4.2.1. shouldn't have any influence and therefore this is purely a coincidence, but I'm glad it all works now. Even Airprint works now (had the 4.2.1 GM on my iPad already, which didn't work before).
