just pitch down a sample?

hi.

is there an easy quick way to pitch up or down a sample.

in the past when ive tried ive had to process the whole sample which takes a while.

ableton has a little cog wheel to do this... nice and easy..

You meant to say audio region even, I bet... 😉
The bad news here: you cannot pitch shift an audio region in one easy command, you can however pitch shift an audio track quite easily, by inserting the Pitch Shift II plugin. You can now Pitch Shift the region (or any part of the track) by automating the Semitones parameter.
